As with the popular Virtual PC program, VirtualBox allows you to have a virtual PC experience that will make you feel like you're actually on a computer, rather than using an operating system. Many people who use VirtualBox have reported a large improvement in their computer skills, especially the speed and accuracy of their computer. For those of us who haven't yet used VirtualBox, you can use it online. Here are a few simple steps you can follow to download, install, and set up VirtualBox and Windows in your Windows PC.
To begin, download the VirtualBox software from the VirtualBox website. When you download it, you will be given the option to either choose Windows or VirtualBox. It is recommended that you choose the Windows version. You will need to create a folder on your computer for the software to install into, and then install the program by double clicking the program icon. Then, you will need to install a Windows program that will allow you to connect to the Internet. To connect to the Internet, you should either use your browser of Windows' built in Internet connection, or you can connect to a VirtualBox network. You should also connect to a Windows program that will allow you to use an FTP connection.
